August Peridots & Poppies is a makeup created for a monthly Instagram collaboration hosted by @expressyourselfcrystal. The theme is creating a look based on the month’s birthstone and flower.

When researching for the project I discovered peridots can be found in stony-iron meteorites. So I decided to do an outer space inspired design. The reference photos looked as if the gemstones were suspended in metal.
