Beetlejuice Sandworm is a macro makeup celebrating the 1988 film by Tim Burton.

To start the look, the eyebrow is glued down with Telesis Silicone Adhesive. A small piece of plastic bald cap is applied over the hair and blended into the skin. Skin Illustrator Purple Justice is airbrushed over the eye area. Other colors from the Mardi Gras Palette such as Lime Daiquiri, Electric Orange, Cajun Red and Jester Yellow are all used in the Beetlejuice Sandworm image. Black and White in both Wolfe FX Hydrocolor and Skin Illustrator are used throughout. The highlights on the skin are created using the color Sand. The shadows, to make the worm appear to be under the skin, are a mixture of Smashbox eyeshadows M6 & M7. Urban Decay’s eyeshadow color Flashback is applied over the airbrushed Purple Justice to add sparkle. The eye is lined in Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Eyeliner in the color Raven. False lashes were added with a black and purple eye contact to complete the entire look.
